How Next Wind Recovery Can Help

The Benefits of Attending Outpatient Treatment

Attending outpatient drug and alcohol rehab brings many benefits.

Keep a Job

Firstly, if you start outpatient addiction treatment, you can keep or secure a job. Many programs at New Jersey rehab centers like Next Wind offer flexible hours, so you can attend an outpatient rehab center in the evenings or around other professional or personal obligations.

Legally, the Family and Medical Leave Act means they can’t fire you if you have a job and thereafter get help for addiction. However, the time you take off for treatment is unpaid, so if you are the primary earner in your home, you might not be able to afford to take months off at a time.

Next Wind stands apart from outpatient providers, with individual and group sessions available every day. You can attend twenty-one different group meetings each week, so you are sure to find something that works. What’s more, you can get one-on-one counseling if you have a court order.

Reduced Cost

Because you aren’t staying overnight or having meals prepared, outpatient drug and alcohol rehab is much less expensive compared to inpatient rehab. What’s more, all health insurance plans are required by federal law to provide coverage for things like mental health treatment, which can often extend to the therapy you receive at an outpatient rehab center.

Even in cases where it doesn’t, it is very likely that your particular insurance provider will cover, at least in part, the cost of therapy and medications for outpatient addiction treatment. This means you must find the time and transportation to and from your outpatient rehab center.

Integration

With outpatient addiction treatment, there is a stronger emphasis on family integration. While in a residential or inpatient program, you are on your own, working with professionals and alongside people who are also going through rehab. But with outpatient drug and alcohol rehab, your close friends and family might be able to join you in things like family therapy, marriage counseling, or 12-step programs.

How We Can Help

What is Outpatient Addiction Treatment?

Outpatient addiction treatment is a form of rehab very similar to inpatient treatment. You attend a part-time schedule of individual and group therapy sessions interspersed with things like 12-step programs at an outpatient rehab center.

The type of individual and group therapy you get will vary from one outpatient rehab center to the next. Some might specialize in mental health services that simultaneously give you dual diagnosis treatment for addiction and mental health disorders, while others might specialize in family and marriage counseling.

The most significant difference is that you don’t live at the rehab center. Instead, you get to return home every night and go back to the rehab center to complete your therapy sessions as required.

Outpatient addiction treatment is best for:

  1. People who have already completed an inpatient program. The different levels of care in a rehab facility are designed to serve as a step-down approach, so as you complete one level, you step down to the next level. After completing an inpatient program, you have the skills necessary to regain some of your independence by living on your own in a halfway house, sober home, or your regular home.
  2. People who are struggling with a moderate addiction don’t need 24-hour supervision. In these situations, you might be struggling with a moderate addiction but still be able to take care of yourself, maintain your independence, and even hold down a job, but you know it’s time to get help.

Paying for Treatment

We Work With Most Major Insurance

Your health insurance can typically help cover up to 100% of the costs associated with addiction treatment at Next Wind Recovery. Contact us for a free consultation to find out your options for treatment. We work hard to ensure the lowest out-of-pocket costs when seeking treatment at Next Wind Recovery. What Sets Next Wind Recovery Apart

Our providers, including doctors, nurses, and counseling staff are some of the best in New Jersey. Every member of our medical care team holds New Jersey licenses specific to their position within our clinic.

Our programs are built to provide care for everyone in our community. This is why we are in-network with a wide variety of insurance companies. We also have a low-cost self-pay option, and we work with every client to find a solution that will work for them.

Additional services we offer include:

  • Drug testing – We are available to give drug tests for everyone who needs it. This includes testing that is court-ordered, mandated by probation, or part of job requirements.
  • Court-ordered counseling – If the courts have ordered addiction counseling services, but not a full recovery program, we can offer one-on-one addiction counseling to satisfy the order.

Scheduling can be difficult. So we offer group and one-on-one meetings every day of the week, with 21 group meetings per week to choose from. Run by our licensed staff, our group meetings provide access to others who are going through the same things or have been where you are.

And to ensure that every client receives the personalized treatment they need, we limit the number of patients we see.
