Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) features essential services such as medical detoxification, therapy, medical and mental health services, and medication management. While our PHP is intensive, you are able to return home after sessions and attend to family, work, and school obligations. Partial hospitalization programs focus on providing personalized services in a safe, secure, and clean environment. In our Passaic County drug rehab program, you will attend sessions 4-5 times weekly with each session lasting several hours. Like our other New Jersey outpatient programs, a PHP can be stepped down as your progress through treatment.

If you require a more intensive level of care, an intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a great option. Our IOP offered at our Passaic County addiction treatment center offers the same intensive programs and services found in residential programs but allows you to return home to your family. Intensive outpatient programs provide a solid therapeutic structure focusing on minimizing the risk of relapse. The programs and services in our intensive outpatient program include the following:

• Individual and group therapy
• Life and coping skills training
• Educational workshops
• Medication management
• Anger management
• Family therapy
• 12-step group support or similar sober support groups (i.e., SMART Recovery or AA)
• Holistic therapies

Our IOP is 5-8 weeks in length on average, and like our other outpatient programs it can be “stepped down” as your progress through treatment.

Next Wind Recovery’s outpatient addiction treatment program is for those clients whose addiction issues are mild and do not require medical detox. Our traditional outpatient program is our least intensive level of care. With this program, the focus is on proven therapies such as CBT and DBT as well as 12-groups, educational workshops, relapse prevention, and family therapy.

You will attend outpatient programming on average 3-4 times weekly with sessions running 2-3 hours. As you progress in treatment, the frequency and duration of sessions can be “stepped down” in intensity. In our traditional outpatient program, you may also receive continued medication-assisted therapy (MAT) as well as one-on-one counseling. Traditional outpatient treatment functions as a standalone program as well as a “step down” program from a more intensive inpatient treatment program.

The group therapy programs at our Passaic County drug rehab center allow you and your recovery peers to share your experiences, fears, and victories in an environment that is safe, supportive, and non-judgmental. In a group therapy setting, you know that you are not alone in your struggles to find lasting recovery. Group therapy also reduces the stigma surrounding addiction. Most importantly, you learn to build the essential life and coping skills you need to handle the triggers and stressors that lead to relapse.

Aftercare services are crucial in building confidence in recovery. We offer additional services such as 12-step group help, ongoing individual and family therapy, access to holistic therapies such as yoga and meditation, and alumni programs. The skill-building and social activities found in aftercare programs allow you to strengthen your support network and have awareness of community resources that help you maintain your recovery.
